I equally appreciate and hate how Eff dances around (aka ignore) the fact that LMR and Twilight’s Experiment are basically torture p0rn. Like obviously it’s gross and I don’t want to hear about it but God, I would’ve liked a warning. Didnt get to watch rainbow rocks until a while after it came out but i did get “the mane event” so i got to experience the novel version first! It was really eye opening to read a book version and to try and imagine what the dazzlings looked like :D:D

Sunset is such a great character. Though the fact that we have no idea what happened to her after the last EG special or Twilights Coronation. In my head canon i like to think that Twilight goes to Visit the Human world in the time between defeating the Legion of Doom and her coronation to Tell Sunset about her changing life. And that after hearing this Sunset realises what she left behind in Equestria, feeling she belongs more there than at Canterlot High. And with this she decides to say goodbye to the Human Mane 6 and comes home to Equestria. She's there at Twilight's coronation (though not shown onscreen in the last problem) and decides to (with Twilight's personal tutoring) to resume her previously abandoned studies in Magic as redemption. The Crystal Finally is destroyed to prevent anypony from using its power again to go between different dimensions.

Welcome to the Show did something to me as a kid. To this day, it makes me immediately stop what I'm doing to focus on the song. There's a video someone made where they rebalanced the vocals so all three sirens can be heard and the rainboom's vocals are replaced with instrumentals [minus Twilight vocalising after they pony up and the sirens are going after them] and it gives a very different vibe. The fact that no one's going against them, it makes it feel a lot more hopeless.

Honestly I think Derpy is of normal intelligence but may have autism or something like that. I understand censoring Derpy's name, not that I agree with it, but the showrunners were probably at the mercy of the executives who wanna keep karens, parents, shareholders, ect. happy. What I don't understand is why her voice had to be changed. Do disabled people really talk like that? Not quite, but it's voice acting for a cartoon, it's supposed to be exaggerated. And plus, most fans just saw her as clumsy and neurotypical...
